Last vacation before LBR arrives

To our curious fans out there, we know it has been awhile since the last entry. Neal and I took our final vacation last week to my parent's house on Cape Cod before the baby arrives. We figured now is the time to catch up on sleep and have some last minute fun!


We had a whale of a time! Neal and I ventured into Boston one day and boarded Boston Harbor Cruises for a day of whale watching. We were lucky enough to see five humpbacks that day which included this amazing up close and personal picture of a momma whale and her baby.

We had to include this gorgeous sunset taken from the neighborhood beach.

There was plenty of time for lounging in the sun. Neal was a brave soul and managed to swim in the brisk Cape Cod water. I also have give my mom credit for getting in too even if it was up to her knees. :0)

Look Mom No Hands!

This was another busy weekend getting ready for LBR. Neal refinished my childhood toy chest and stained it to match the baby furniture and I continued to make more room in his closet. (I think I have done more cleaning out in weeks that my entire life!)

Sunday we picked up the car seat (Thanks to Neal's mom) and enjoyed the rest of the day watching the Red Sox and O's.



Neal decided to take a picture of one of my latest tricks, a new handy glass rest. (Instructions not included)

Busy 4th of July Weekend!

We kicked off the long July 4th weekend with a BBQ in Woodbridge with our friends, Heather and Trevor Browne. Heather and Trevor are expecting their first child in late November too! The Browne's are just one of several good friends who are expecting their first this year.
Congrats to: Josie and Bob Morris due in late August, Katie and Jon Werner (Neal's sis and brother in law) due in early September, Christine and Alex Papadopoulos due in early November and Courtney and Mike Barry due Christmas Eve!

Who is this adorable little baby you ask?

Saturday afternoon was spent with our good friends, Sarah and Sean Connors in Bethesda, MD. Neal is trying to get some practice time in with their daugther Caroline.

Ok, you have been asking for it!

Here is an updated picture of my growing belly from the weekend. I have now hit 26 weeks and LBR is becoming more and more active everyday. I am convinced he is busy strategizing his escape route for October :)
